MODEL: LASERLUX 1.3 REFOR

  • Hand held, powered by a 9 Volts non rechargeable battery.
  • Protected against impact, dust and non intentional turn on.
  • Cover with rare-earth magnetic lock. Liquid crystal display in a poliesterene box, internally painted with a conductive ink for shield, 4 buttons with tactile feedback (1) on/off, (2) operation mode (continuous or modulated at 1 KHz), (3) increase power, (4) decrease power.
  • Very low power consumption - 0,15W typical.
  • Very robust; adequate for use in field or lab.
  • Compensated against temperature variation. The optical power drift is less than 0,2 dB , in the range of 0oC to 40oC.
  • External dimensions: 12cm x 8cm x 5cm.
  • Weight: 0,3 Kg approximately.
  • Battery duration: Typically 30 hours for continuous operation.
  • The only one existing in the international market that exhibits in the LCD the average optical power coupled in 9/125 microns fiber .

  • Laserlux 1.3 has two modes of operation: CW and modulated at 1 KHz, square wave.
  • Output power is adjustable tipically from - 14 dBm up to 0 dBm (measured after 1m of 9/125 microns fiber; power measurements does include light travelling outside the core ) by 0.25 dB steps.

  • Permits attenuation measurements in singlemode fiber optical links up to 150 Km (@0. 3dB/Km) if utilized together with Luxmeter B.
